Jeff Schaffer, PharmD

Jeff is the second-generation owner of Bloomington Drug. As the youngest son of previous owners Paul & Doris Schaffer, Jeff grew up a part of the Bloomington Drug landscape. A native of Bloomington, Jeff received his Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Creighton University where he graduated in 2006. In 2012, Jeff assumed ownership of Bloomington Drug and has been working to steer and grow the company with vision ever since. Outside the pharmacy, you can find Jeff riding his motorcycle wherever possible, attending school events or coaching one of his four kids’ sports.

Rachel Fox, PharmD

Rachel is a native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and a graduate of the Creighton University School of Pharmacy. Since 2006, Rachel has been focused on building the Medication Packaging division of Bloomington Drug. Rachel’s unparalleled focus and organization are the perfect attributes for insuring the highest quality results for our patients and facilities. When she isn’t at the pharmacy, you can find Rachel going for walks by the creeks and city lakes, playing games with family and gardening.

Lynn Johnson

Lynn has been a part of the Bloomington Drug staff for more than 25 years. She has worn many hats within our company from front end manager to bookkeeper, pharmacy technician and everything in between. Over the past 25 years, Lynn has turned our customers into our friends, our employees into our family and brightened each and every day with her positive attitude and smile. When she isn’t at the pharmacy, you can find her playing mom, wife and grandma, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Teri Bokusky, RPhT

Teri graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. After pursuing a successful career in Pharmaceutical Sales, Teri joined the team at Bloomington Drug and quickly became recognized for her attention to detail and work ethic. 13 years later, Teri is now an integral member of our management team with a focus on Sales and Marketing. Outside of work, you can find Teri attending her kids’ sports activities, running, taking a Zumba class or spending time with friends and family.

Rachel Knutson

Rachel has been working in sales and marketing for 25 years in the health care industry. Rachel is originally from Denver CO, attending college at University of Colorado at Denver and the University of Minnesota. Rachel also teaches Irish step dance and loves the outdoors.

Phil Schliem, Rph

Phil is originally from Rockford, Illinois and is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy. Phil was the first Pharmacist that Paul Schaffer hired and is the longest running staff member at Bloomington Drug. Phil has been serving the prescription needs of the Bloomington community and beyond for more than 40 years and is well-respected for his loyal efforts in doing so. Outside the pharmacy Phil can be found cheering on his favorite sports teams, spending time with friends and family and traveling alongside his wife Lynn.

Chris Catron

Chris attained his PharmD from University of Minnesota. On his time off Chris enjoys golf, coaching his son's sports and cabin time. Chris enjoys the independent setting and the open communication with patients.

Liz Reckow

Liz attained her PharmD from NDSU. GO BISON! Liz enjoys concerts, camping, fishing, and hiking on her time off. Liz is from St. James, MN and has a cat named Aspyn.

Nicole Nelson

Nicole grew up in a small community just north of the cities. She received both her bachelor's degree and Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She started at Bloomington Drug in April of 2017 as a pharmacy intern and was hired on as a full time pharmacist upon graduating in 2020. Her favorite part of working at an independently owned pharmacy is the ability it allows to provide personalized care for patients in the community.

Outside of the pharmacy Nicole enjoys spending time on the lake, traveling, and playing with her labradoodle.

Michael Nyland

Mike is from Rochester, Minnesota. He attended South Dakota State University for both undergrad and pharmacy school. His hobbies include painting and other visual arts, music, DYI house projects, outdoors/camping, frisbee and hockey.

Mike has a Springer Spaniel named Huxley.
