What is medication packaging?

Medication packaging is a method of preparing medications in a safe and organized manner. Through medication packaging, the team at Bloomington Drug can take the guesswork out of managing your prescriptions by filling, sorting, and organizing your medications, including over-the-counter (OTC) medications, into disposable cards.

The blister packaging is easy to use and navigate, showing whether doses were missed.

Why use medication packaging?

The main goals of medication packaging are convenience and safety of the patient. Packaging ensures that the patient is getting the exact dose prescribed at the exact time intended. It helps improve adherence to medications by reducing the chance of missed or doubled doses. Let Bloomington Drug do the work for you: by packaging meds in monthly cycles and managing your refills, we can offer patients and caregivers peace of mind.
