Transferring your prescription(s) to Bloomington Drug is easy! Simply call our pharmacy at (952) 884-7528 and provide the following information to a member of our staff:

• Your name
• Name and phone number of your previous pharmacy
• Prescription number and the name of the prescription you are transferring

We will handle the process from there and you will receive a call when your prescription is ready for pick-up.

As a service to our customers, we offer several methods to manage your medications. Ordering prescriptions has never been easier!

• Call our pharmacy at (952) 884-7528 and provide our staff member with your name, prescription number and the name of the prescription to be filled.

If you prefer to manage your medications online:

• Fill out the Quick Refill Form at the top of our homepage to request your refill. Your request will be received and processed during regular business hours. You will receive a phone call when your prescription refill is ready for pick-up. Please note: If there are no refills remaining on your prescription, we will need to contact your physician for refill authorization. (See additional details under ‘How do I order a refill if there are no refills left?”)
• Create an online account with Bloomington Drug and you will be able to fill your prescriptions faster! (See details below)
• Utilize the Bloomington Drug Mobile App and manage your prescriptions anywhere, anytime!

On the bottom of your prescription bottle label is an area that denotes how many refills remain on your prescription. If no refills remain, simply order your prescription using your preferred method (phone, online or through our mobile app) and we will contact your provider for refill authorization. Please keep in mind that most providers request up to 3 business days to respond to our refill request. As a general rule, always call your prescription in 7-10 days before running out of your medication. This will make for the most efficient filling of your prescription request. We will contact you when your refill is ready for pick-up.

NEW at Bloomington Drug, create an online account to make managing your prescriptions, and those of your loved ones, easier than ever. With an online account, you will be able to:

• Refill prescriptions with a few clicks of the mouse
• Download the Bloomington Drug Mobile App for on-the go access to your prescription records
• View your prescription drug names and images with the number of available refills
• Select your delivery method of choice: pick-up, mail or delivery
• Manage up to 10 family member profiles
• Set reminders about upcoming refills

To create an account, click on the Online Refill Registration field at the top of our home page. Fill out and submit the form through our website - it’s that simple! For future access to your account, all you need to do is select Login at the top of our home page.

Bloomington Drug is proud to offer our NEW Mobile App at no charge to our customers. Available on the App Store or on Google Play, downloading the Bloomington Drug App allows patients to:

• Manage your family’s prescriptions under one login account
• View important information about your medication - uses, side effects, precautions, etc.
• Request a refill without logging in through our Quick Refill feature
• Get directions to our store and view store hours

Bloomington Drug accepts cash, check and most major credit cards as well as HSA cards. If you have chosen to have your prescriptions mailed or delivered, credit card payment is required. Your credit card will be processed at the time your prescription is shipped.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card and HSA cards. Refill and new prescription payments will be processed at the time of pick-up.

When having your prescriptions mailed, combine multiple prescription refills where applicable. Your prescriptions will ship in a single package saving you time and money.

Your shipment will arrive via United States Postal Service (USPS). Standard shipping runs roughly 3 business days depending on your location. Expedited shipping options are available upon request; additional fees may apply.

All orders will be packaged in accordance with your prescription requirements and can be tracked by our Mail Department. If you have specific questions regarding prescription mailing or would like to track a package, call (952) 884-7528.

All local delivery scheduling and questions are handled by our Delivery Department at (952) 884-7528.

Bloomington Drug accepts most insurance plans and will process claims for insurance reimbursement on all prescriptions. If your medication is not covered by your insurance, Bloomington Drug offers competitive cash pricing. Bloomington Drug is pleased to partner with you to insure the long term health of you and your loved ones. We are currently offering the following vaccinations:

• Influenza
• Shingles
• Pneumonia

No appointment is necessary to receive your immunizations, simply stop in any time during our regular business hours.

Our pharmacist will submit a claim to your insurance company at the time of vaccination. In addition to submitting your claim, your vaccination(s) will be reported to the Minnesota Immunization Information Connection (MIIC) database which ensures your immunization record stays accurate and accessible by all of your healthcare providers.

Curbside Prescription Pick-up is a service we offer our patients who may not have the time, stamina or ability to proceed to our pharmacy counter. To utilize the Curbside Pick-Up option, pull into the designated parking spot in front of our store. Once you have arrived, call the phone number on the sign and a technician will deliver your prescription right to your car. Please note that in order to utilize our Curbside Pick-up option, pre-registration is required. Inquire with a staff member today!
